Telemedicine Visits

If you are a British Columbia resident, with little or no access to a Naturopathic Doctor, and can’t come into my Creston office for visits, telemedicine may be the option for you!

You should be able to access healthcare from wherever you are. Telemedicine gives us the opportunity to connect no matter where you are in the province.

We use a secure, encrypted, yet easy to use video conference platform, that allows you to login and chat face to face with Dr. Kim from your smart phone or computer.

Because of licensing laws, in order to see Dr. Kim for Naturopathic Medicine visits by Telemedicine you must be a British Columbia resident, and have access to an MD, walk-in clinic, or emergency department in case of acute need of examination.

I’m not computer savvy, can this work for me?

The system we use is incredibly easy to operate. A link will be emailed to you 30 min before your visit, and using that link, a few clicks of a button, then you will be in the waiting room. Dr. Kim will start a video conference with you at the time of your appointment as soon as she is available.

*Phone calls are also available for follow-up visits.

*You do require access to the internet.

Why do I need to live in BC?

Dr. Kim is licensed to practice as a Naturopathic Doctor in British Columbia, Canada. You must reside in the province the doctor is licensed in, otherwise, taking patients as Naturopathic client from outside the province is deemed practicing medicine without a license.

However, online self-directed educational wellness programs are available that can help with your health journey. New Topics are always in the works, and health tidbits are always available on social media.

Visit Costs

Below are the current visits costs. Please note these may change without notice and are generally adjusted with inflation every 1-2 years. Appointment costs can be adjusted at the time of your visit if a visit runs extensively longer than your booking (eg a return visit may be billed as a longer extended visit if we run well over 30 minutes).

There are additional services such as functional lab tests, vitamin B12 injections, and other options which will be discussed in office if they are deemed appropriate for your case.

Please note that Bowen therapy, vitamin injections, and cold laser treatments are not available for telemedicine patients. You must be able to attend in the office for these treatments.
