Who Is Dr Kim Hine ND?

You are on a health journey.
As a Naturopathic Doctor, I’m here to be your guide, to find the cause of your concerns, and the path back to health.

As women we traditionally carry a lot of responsibility in the home and with the care of our families. In today’s culture in many cases we also shoulder a lot of burden with work and careers. While we are trying to carry all of these things, and do the things we know we are supposed to do, like exercise, and eat healthy, we often tend to lose our drive, our sense of self, or our health and energy. It doesn’t have to happen, but it so very often does. Every woman deserves, and requires, a vibrant level of health and energy, if she is to maintain all of the things she is to do. I am here to help you regain that spark, that health you desire, so you have more to give to those you love.

Your body has an innate ability to heal itself when given the right tools. Health very much depends on the fundamentals of good nutrition, lifestyle, sleep, stress reduction and increased happiness

My own health journey allowed me to learn personal insights in the root cause of many health concerns that I can now share with you, along with my training and medical knowledge.

I’ve Been Where you are.

The path of my health has never been an easy or straight line. In fact my health history is what lead me to this profession. I’ve had struggles with health since I was a child, starting with asthma, digestive issues, and depression and anxiety. I’ve dealt with chronic fatigue, severe stress, overwhelm and burnout, and I lived in the moldy house that left me with chronic mold toxicity and infections that lead to  other issues. And I’ve dealt with the struggles of infertility, to which I can now gratefully to say that I have a healthy little girl.

The journey has not been easy, but I always continue to move forward and overcome, and am thankful for the knowledge I learn along the way to use to help you.

After well over a decade, and over 1500 patients, I have helped a lot of women (as well as men and children!) find the path to regain their vibrant health. I am confident I can help you too!

I have studied at the University of Victoria, the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine, Bowen College, and many independent courses and additional licensing that aid my knowledge and scope of practice as a Naturopathic Doctor. I have also trained as an infant sleep consultant, because sleep is necessary for great health!

I am a licensed Naturopathic doctor through the College of Complementary Health Professionals of BC (CCHPBC), am a member in good standing with the BC Naturopathic Doctors Association (BCND), and the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND).
